A yoga therapy session supports you with a 1:1 exploration of mental and/or physical ailments and how therapeutic yoga can assist in bringing them back into balance. Perhaps you are seeking a general introduction into yoga for overall vitality or you have targeted conditions that you would like to address! Your provider will be an E-RYT and/or C-IAYT; all with over a decade of experience in the realm of therapeutic yoga.
In a typical one-on-one yoga therapy session, you may expect:
- For new clients, an intake inquiring into your medical history, along with your physical, mental, energetic, and spiritual needs.
- An analysis of your breath, posture, gait, and various yoga poses.
- Physical poses chosen and adapted for your needs.
- Breathing, meditation, and relaxation practice.
Our two yoga therapists have different backgrounds: one in psychology, spiritual sciences, and ayurvedic yoga and the other in Katonah yoga, anatomy, and body work. We will connect you to the best provider contingent upon your goals and objectives!
