Join Soul Space Yoga Instructor, Jessica Serra, E-RYT200 for a fun and informative day of exploring the scientific foundation of essential oils and medicinal aromatherapy!
This 4.5 hour long workshop will include:
?A 90 minute long aroma flow/ restorative yoga practice
?The history, biology, and research behind medicinal aromatherapy
?Experiential sampling of different oils and discussion about the plants, flowers, and trees they originate from
?Effective oil application/administration techniques
?Physiological, Psychological/ Emotional, and Spiritual Benefits
?How to practically integrate oils into your daily routine
?Essential oils and their connection to yoga and the chakras
?Ayurveda and its relationship to aromatherapy
?Healing meditation with mudras and essential oils
Time: 10:30- 3:00 pm

There will be a brief lunch break- so please come with whatever your preferred lunch is from home and whatever snacks you will need through out the day. The studio has water and cold pressed juices available for purchase!

About our presenter: Jessica Serra is a licensed psychotherapist and the co-owner of Prima Wellness, an integrative and holistic health practice in Watertown, CT. She has worked in the mental health field for nearly two decades and is a Director within Yale University’s School of Medicine. Jessica is an avid yogi, animal advocate, dog mom to the “canine kula”, and a lover of all things Costa Rica.
